Symptoms

The movies are not displayed in game and do not properly display when viewed outside the game

Cause

This is likely an issue with the Codec.

Solution

Install the Direct Show filters off the instalation disc, and ensure that you have the Duck True Motion codec installed. Some codecs interfere with the FF7 required ones, notable such codec packs as K-Lite Codec Pack. Specifically, you must disable Truemotion support in FFDShow filter configuration, or disable whole FFDShow.
