Eidos has no solution to this problem besides giving you Save so you can play further in-game. Fortunately, a programmer called Jedwin, in topic on This can be fixed using [url=http://forums.qhimm.com/viewtopicindex.php?ttopic=1245 Qhimm Forums8306.0] described this problem and provided a solution. Qhimm wrote a patcher that can handle most of game versions and fixes this problem.
